CHR Partners Board of Directors
Meghan Cano currently serves as the President and CEO of CHR Partners, Inc. a national nonprofit organization developing affordable housing and providing critical support services. Over the last 5 years, Ms. Cano has increased the organizations portfolio by more than 200% and documented services to more than 15,000 individuals throughout the State of Texas. Before this, Ms. Cano served as AVP of Contract Management and Quality Assurance for Haven for Hope as well as many other roles. During her time at Haven, she was one of the instrumental staff involved in the creation of the Homeless and Housing Services Program in the State of Texas; the first homeless grant program to be funded with general revenue in the amount of $20M dollars.

Design Strategist, Participation Studio Director, Public Space East
Allison is a design strategist who has worked in community development since 2008 with a focus on participation and youth education. She holds a SMArchs in Urbanism from MIT and Bachelor of Architecture from UT Austin. Currently, she works at RevUnit on digital systems that empower enterprises through data intelligence. San Antonio has been her home since 2014.

Director of Human Resources
Victor Nivens has been a retail professional at H-E-B for more than 28 years. He currently serves H-E-B as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Houston Food Drug Division. Victor’s expertise includes partner relations, talent management, training / development, and leadership coaching. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Huston Tillotson University in Austin, Texas.

Ms. Latsha holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin and has been involved in affordable housing since 2005, working for the non-profit developer Cesar Chavez Foundation, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA), and currently as Vice President of development for Pedcor Investments. She serves as the 2nd Vice President for the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), volunteers at St. Austin Catholic Parish, is a proud wife and mother of two, and enjoys running, hiking, Astros baseball, and racing her car.

Texas Homeless Network, CEO & President
Eric Samuels, CEO/President. Mr. Samuels has 23 years of experience working with local, state and national organizations on the development of systems designed to end homelessness. Eric is the President/CEO of Texas Homeless Network. Mr. Samuels holds a MA in Sociology from Texas State University and BA from the University of Arkansas.

United Way of Denton County,
Director of Mental Health & Housing
Courtney has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Southern Methodist University and a Masters of Arts in Community Organizing from Queen Mary, University of London. As Director of Mental Health & Housing Initiatives with the United Way of Denton County, Courtney has a personal and professional passion for safe, affordable and accessible housing for all.

South Alamo Regional Alliance for the Homeless, Former Executive Director
Bill Hubbard is the former Executive Director of the South Alamo Regional Alliance for the Homeless. In that position he focused on ending homelessness in San Antonio by significantly increasing Federal funding for homeless programs, attracting major funding from corporate and city funding and working with partners to end Veteran homelessness. He joined the CHR board upon his retirement in 2017.
